Zāwiyah (also Zawiyeh) is a site in the middle Euphrates region in what was part of the ancient kingdom of Suhu. The city was situated on the north bank of the Euphrates, a few kilometers west of Sur Jureh and Gleieh. Like many towns and cities of the ancient kingdom of Suhu, Zāwiyah is now underwater; the area was flooded after the construction of the Haditha dam. The city's ancient name is not known.

Pleiades
A fragment on an Akkadian inscription of a Suhean ruler, (probably Ninurta-kudurrī-uṣur) was discovered at Zāwiyah. The archaeological site is now inundated by the Hadithah Dam Lake. Satellite imagery is available here.
